Site Engineer – Civil Construction Sydney, NSW $95,000 & Super
We are currently partnering with several well-established civil contractors delivering major infrastructure and subdivision projects across Sydney. Due to continued growth and a strong pipeline of work, we are seeking Site Engineers to join high-performing project teams across a range of civil construction projects.
These opportunities are with reputable Tier 2 civil contractors working on projects including subdivisions, bulk earthworks, roads, drainage, water infrastructure and industrial developments.
The Role
As a Site Engineer, you will play a key role in supporting the delivery of civil construction projects from start to finish. Working closely with Project Managers, Site Supervisors, and subcontractors, you will ensure works are completed safely, on time, and to specification.
Key Responsibilities
* Coordinate and oversee day-to-day site activities
* Assist with project planning, programming, and resource coordination
* Manage subcontractors and ensure works are delivered to required standards
* Prepare and review documentation including RFIs, ITPs, SWMS, and QA records
* Conduct site inspections and ensure compliance with project specifications
* Liaise with surveyors, supervisors, and project stakeholders
* Monitor progress and assist with reporting on project performance
About You
* Degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline
* 1–5+ years' experience working as a Site Engineer within civil construction
* Experience across earthworks, roads, drainage, water infrastructure or subdivision projects highly regarded
* Strong communication and organisational skills
* Ability to work collaboratively within project teams
* Proactive attitude with a focus on safety and quality
