About the Role
As a Clinical Nurse - Rehabilitation, you'll play a key role in delivering high-quality, patient-centred care within a community-based, multidisciplinary subacute rehabilitation team. Working across inpatient and ambulatory settings, you'll collaborate with local colleagues and metropolitan specialists to support the planning, development and delivery of rehabilitation services.
In this advanced clinical role, you'll focus on improving health outcomes, enhancing functional capacity, and supporting patients to achieve the best possible quality of life. You'll also contribute to service improvement initiatives and act as a clinical resource, guiding and mentoring less experienced staff and students.
About You
You are a confident and capable Registered Nurse with a strong rehabilitation or subacute care background. You thrive in collaborative environments and bring a proactive, solutions-focused approach to your work.
You bring clinical expertise, sound judgement and a genuine commitment to improving patient outcomes. Your ability to adapt, innovate and build strong professional relationships will see you succeed in this dynamic environment.
* Registered or eligible with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia
* Minimum 3 years post-registration nursing experience
* Advanced clinical nursing skills in rehabilitation or similar settings
* Strong communication, problem-solving and teamwork skills
* Ability to work independently and manage competing priorities
* Experience supporting or mentoring junior staff and students
* Committed to culturally appropriate care, including working with Aboriginal consumers
