The Nurtured Village Hampers Ltd is a registered health promotion charity in Australia dedicated to the prevention and control of maternal mental health disorders.
Our Hamper Coordinators work within their local communities as part of a small team to coordinate hampers in their town or city. Hampers are collections of donated home-cooked meals, non-perishables, essential baby items, and small gifts for local mothers experiencing hardship. Our hampers foster a sense of community for mothers, helping them feel seen and supported by creating a village around them.
What's involved:
* Working in a team of 2-3 volunteers to collect donations of home-cooked meals, non-perishables, and gifts each month from around your region.
* Delivering hampers to local mothers each month.
Admin responsibilities:
* Managing a private Facebook group for your town or city (with a team of 2-3 volunteers).
* Encouraging growth of the Facebook group and promoting the organisation locally.
* Assisting in marketing The Nurtured Village to local organisations and businesses.
* Connecting with local services and businesses to promote on the Facebook page.
* Organising local events for mothers.
* Promoting collection points for hamper items at local drop-off and pick-up locations.
All activities are supported by your local team, the central management team, and the Founding Director of The Nurtured Village.
