About the opportunity

The new Case Management and Remediation team, within Workplace Relations and Compliance, is dedicated to supporting the University in meeting its compliance obligations. The team contributes to the University's compliance objectives by driving the investigation and resolution of claims and enquiries, including pay outcomes. The team also has a key role in continuous improvement and the development of the University's capabilities and understanding of workplace compliance, across all faculties and business areas, ensuring correct and consistent application of University's policies and procedures, industrial agreements and legislative requirements.

The Case Officer plays a vital role within the Workplace Compliance & Policy team, supporting the University to meet its legislative and Enterprise Agreement obligations by investigating and resolving wage-related enquiries and claims. The role is responsible for progressing case investigations, analysing complex information and data, preparing findings and remediation instructions, and ensuring matters are handled fairly, confidentially and in a timely manner. Working closely with stakeholders across HR, Payroll, Faculties, Schools and Legal, the Case Officer builds strong relationships while exercising sound judgement, attention to detail and a high level of discretion. This position contributes to strengthening the University's compliance capability through high‑quality case management, reporting, and support for continuous improvement initiatives.

Your key responsibilities will be to:

* investigate and resolve wage‑related enquiries and claims
* analyse information and data to identify non‑compliance and risks
* prepare clear findings, recommendations and remediation instructions
* maintain accurate records and support reporting activities
* build strong relationships across HR, Payroll, Faculties and Legal
* contribute to compliance improvements and small projects within the team.

* experience applying compliance, regulatory or industrial relations frameworks.
