The team leader responsibilities you will undertake are:
- Recruit, train and prepare Legal Assistants to work in the Support Hub.
- Ensure appropriate work allocation, leave management, and provide first-line support.
- Monitor, evaluate and manage Legal Assistant performance and provide learning opportunities.
- Liaise with practice groups to ensure support needs are met.
- Actively identify operational issues and suggest possible improvements.
The legal assistant services you will provide are:
- General administration - including word processing, document creation, filing, scanning, printing, organising postage and couriers.
- Matter related processing - including opening and closing matters, client billing, searches, producing engagement letters, trust statements, and lodging documents.
- Practice support - including assisting in proposals, submissions and team-based projects, organising travel and accommodation.
