The Role & Your Requirements
About the role
We are currently seeking a self-motivated, enthusiastic, committed, and hardworking Field Service Mechanic to join our team. The role is based out of our new Naval Base workshop and reporting to the Branch Manager & Senior Hire Controller. The successful applicant will be responsible for the maintenance and repairs of a broad range of rental equipment in the workshop and in the field.

Duties
* Troubleshooting, repairing and maintenance of rental equipment and their components; hydraulics, transmissions and engines
* Compiling and completing accurate reporting
* Working as a team to manage your time and maximise efficiency
* Maintaining a safe and clean work environment
* Work alongside a high performing team, who are passionate about the gear they work on

Skills & experience
* Fully qualified in Mobile Plant Mechanic with practical experience
* Previous experience working on construction machinery (great to have)
* A strong commitment to safety, health & environment procedures
* A proactive and positive attitude, with strong work ethic
* Ability to pass a pre-employment D&A screen and functional assessment
