Job Opportunity
We are seeking motivated individuals to work as Operating Theatre Assistants in a permanent part-time capacity within our Procedural Services team.
The successful candidate will provide a quality and safe service as a member of our Procedural Suites care for adult, obstetric and paediatric patients requiring surgical intervention.
* Preparing operating rooms for surgical cases is a crucial aspect of this role.
* Cleaning operating rooms and maintaining equipment after each case in accordance with infection control procedures is vital to ensuring the safety of our patients.
* Undertaking positioning of patients utilising manual handling principles requires attention to detail and physical stamina.

* Availability to do shift work weekdays and weekends.
* A strong desire in helping people and providing excellent patient care.
Desirable qualifications and experience include:
* Holding a Certificate III in Health Care Support (Operating Theatre Practice) or Certificate III in Health Services Assistance.
* Minimum of two years previous experience in an Operating Theatre Assistant role.
