About the Company:
An established and growing Australian-owned food business supplying high-quality products and solutions to the foodservice and independent QSR market. Partnering closely with restaurants, cafés, pubs, caterers and regional distributors, the business has built a strong reputation for product quality, customer service and commercial integrity.
With continued investment in growth, this is a business on an upward trajectory — offering a stable platform, clear direction and genuine opportunity to make a visible impact at state level.
About the Role:
This is a hands-on, growth-driven State Business Development Manager role with full ownership of Victoria. The focus is on building new end-user relationships, expanding distributor partnerships and accelerating state-based growth.
Reporting to the General Manager, the role is split across:
* 60% new business development with end users (restaurants, cafés, pubs, independent QSR, multi-site operators and manufacturers)
* 40% distributor management, working closely with regional and smaller distribution partners to drive pull-through, range expansion and volume growth
You'll be highly visible in-market — running product demonstrations, tastings and customer visits — while building a disciplined pipeline aligned to monthly and quarterly targets. This role will suit someone who thrives in the field, enjoys opening doors and takes pride in turning opportunity into long-term, profitable partnerships.
Skills & Experience Required:
To be successful in this role, you'll bring a genuine hunter mindset and a proven ability to grow foodservice or distributor-led accounts in a competitive market.
You'll ideally have:
* 5+ years' experience in foodservice or distributor-led sales
* A strong track record of new business wins and target achievement
* Experience selling into restaurants, cafés, independent QSR or via foodservice distributors
* Sound commercial acumen across pricing, margins and value-based selling
