Job Description
As a Senior Radiation Therapist, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality radiation therapy planning and treatment as prescribed by the Radiation Oncologist. You will support the Clinical Lead Radiation Therapist and contribute to the operational management of planning and treatment. Your leadership skills will be essential in guiding junior staff and ensuring adherence to department protocols and procedures.
Key Responsibilities
* Support the Clinical Lead Radiation Therapist in managing the unit's operations.
* Contribute to the development and implementation of treatment plans in collaboration with the Radiation Oncologist.
* Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior staff members.
* Ensure effective communication with multidisciplinary teams to deliver seamless patient care.
Required Skills and Qualifications
* Strong understanding of radiation therapy principles and practices.
* Minimum 3 years' experience in radiation therapy, preferably in a senior role.
* Demonstrated expertise in planning and plan checking, including stereotactic radiotherapy techniques.
* Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills.
