Operating Theatre Clerk Role
This role involves working within a dynamic and fast-paced environment as an Operating Theatre Clerk.
Key Responsibilities:
* To collect and accurately enter patient prosthetic information into the WebPAS IBA patient management system.
* To accurately enter surgical MBS codes for reimbursement purposes.
* To provide clerical support to the Operating Theatre team, including communicating effectively with staff, patients, and external stakeholders.
Requirements:
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel) and hospital information systems (WebPAS).
* High level attention to detail and accuracy.
* Ability to work both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
* Problem solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
* Demonstrated competency in medical terminology.
* Experience with IBA Patient Management System is desirable.
* Previous hospital or healthcare clerical experience is highly regarded.
