A Role for a Hygienist Who Wants to Grow, Lead, and Make a Real Impact
This opportunity suits a Dental Hygienist who is passionate about prevention, education, and long‐term patient outcomes. The practice is deeply patient‐centric, relationship‐driven, and committed to delivering exceptional care through collaboration, communication, and clinical excellence.
The successful candidate will thrive in an environment where Hygienists are supported, mentored, and encouraged to expand their scope — not just clinically, but professionally and personally.
New graduates are welcome, provided they are open to mentoring, feedback, KPI‐guided growth, and learning beyond the university framework.
What the Hygienist Will Be Doing
* Delivering high‐quality preventive care, OHI, perio charting, EMS disclosing, and clinical photography
* Performing microscopy samples, EMS workflows, and disease‐focused education
* Supporting ortho patients with OHI, maintenance, and reties (if trained)
* Conducting NP/STATUS hygiene appointments (1 hour), including full perio charting, education, and risk‐based recall planning
* Managing 3, 4, and 6‐monthly recalls for at‐risk patients
* Collaborating with senior clinicians for complex cases, referrals, and treatment planning
* Participating in daily clinical huddles to review disease patterns, social history and referral opportunities
* Working with a full DA (with occasional self‐setup if required)
* Performing BW radiographs based on risk (1–3 year intervals) and referring for OPGs
* Providing remineralisation therapies, desensitising agents, silver fluoride, dry‐mouth management, whitening, and preventive products
* Supporting the practice with community engagement (aged care, schools, health events)
This practice is highly supportive of Hygienists expanding their diagnostic confidence and preventive leadership.
