Talius is an ASX-listed Australian technology company delivering integrated technology platforms used across aged care and healthcare environments. Our systems combine software, IoT devices and monitoring technologies to support resident safety and operational visibility for care providers across Australia.
We are looking for an Adelaide-based Support Technician who can act as our local technical presence across South Australian client sites.
This role suits someone who is comfortable working independently, enjoys dealing directly with customers and has the technical capability to troubleshoot systems in real environments. Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential as you will be interacting with operational staff, site managers and senior stakeholders within client organisations.
The role operates as work from home when not onsite, with travel to client facilities across Adelaide when required.
Key responsibilities
* Act as the on-the-ground technical contact for assigned client sites
* Build strong working relationships with site managers, care staff and facility teams
* Troubleshoot system issues onsite, including hardware and connectivity problems
* Perform device checks, replacements and system verification where required
* Collect logs, photos and technical information when incidents occur to support investigations
* Support commissioning and stabilisation activities following new deployments
* Assist with minor installation tasks and hardware mounting when required
* Maintain accurate records of device inventory, configuration and site information
* Provide operational feedback internally on recurring issues or improvement opportunities
Key skills and experience
* Previous technical support or field service experience
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills when dealing with customers
* Ability to troubleshoot hardware and network-related issues on-site
* Strong organisational skills and ability to manage multiple client environments
* Current driver's licence and willingness to travel locally to client sites
* Nurse call systems or healthcare technology environments
* Structured cabling or low voltage installation experience
* IoT device deployment or building technology systems
* Experience supporting aged care, retirement living or healthcare environments
