What You'll Do:
* Provide day-to-day admin support to aviation managers and operational staff.
* Coordinate aviation schedules, reporting requirements, and operational documentation.
* Maintain accurate aviation records (CASA, SLSQ, audits) and support compliance processes.
* Prepare agendas, minutes, and action tracking for key meetings.
* Assist with flight records, landing requests, and tasking logs.
* Support the Marketing & Communications team by preparing aviation content for social media, digital platforms, and Westpac reporting.
* Collate data and prepare reports for SLSQ, SLSA, Westpac, and QPS.
* Manage vehicle usage logs, driver licensing, and airside registrations.
* Coordinate travel, appointments, conferences, and events for the Aviation team.
* Assist with procurement of uniforms, PPE, equipment, and promotional materials.
* Maintain the WLRHS community engagement calendar and volunteer patrol hour records.
* Professionally handle incoming calls, including emergency calls.
* Support inductions, onboarding, and training coordination where required.
* Assist with invoicing, purchase orders, reconciliations, and other finance processes.
* Contribute to a safe, respectful, and inclusive workplace culture.
About You:
* Experience in administration, with strong organisational and time-management skills.
* Ability to juggle competing priorities and thrive in a fast-paced operational environment.
* Strong communication skills (verbal and written) and a confident phone manner.
* Intermediate skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint (typing speed 50+ wpm).
* Knowledge of social media platforms and digital content creation.
* Current Queensland Blue Card and driver's licence.
* High integrity, confidentiality, and attention to detail.
* Understanding of Surf Life Saving or similar community-based organisations (advantage).
