Position Overview
The Apprentice - Civil Construction role is a four-year apprenticeship designed to provide comprehensive training within the Civil Works and Presentation team. You will be involved in both planned and reactive maintenance, restoration, and construction of civil assets, including roads and stormwater infrastructure.
This position entails a variety of physical tasks such as working with ready-mixed concrete and asphalt, excavation, concrete cutting, limited plant operation, traffic management, and surveying. You will receive structured, hands-on training while completing a Certificate III in Civil Construction. Attendance at the allocated Registered Training Organisation and completion of all required learning components is mandatory.

Candidate Profile
We are seeking enthusiastic individuals who are eager to start a career in Civil Construction and are committed to learning and development.
* Satisfactory completion of Year 10, or equivalent
* Able to meet manual handling and physical requirements of the role
* Willingness to work outdoors and with trade-related equipment
* Demonstrated interest in pursuing a trade in Civil Construction
* Desirable: Class C licence

Position Details
* Package: $43,024.80 gross p.a. plus 12% superannuation
* Hours of work: Temporary Full Time, 38 hours per week with a 9-day fortnight. 4-year apprenticeship opportunity
