We're home to some of Australia's most loved brands, including Red Bull, Peters Ice Cream, THE ICONIC, Pizza Hut, R.M.Williams, and Georg Jensen, wrapped up in a people-first culture.Now, we're looking for a smart, ambitious PR Account Executive to help us take it even further.THE ROLE:We - including our clients - genuinely believe this is one of the most exciting businesses to be in right now.As a PR Account Executive, you'll be an integral part of our earned media team, supporting the execution of earned media strategies and helping to deliver measurable results for our clients.
You love seeing your clients in headlines and thrive on the buzz of securing media coverage.KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:Support the earned media team in developing and executing earned media campaigns for key clients across publicity, organic creator/influencer engagement, activations and as part of broader integrated campaignsTake an active role in media relations, writing compelling pitches, developing press materials, and building relationships with key journalistsContribute to campaign ideation, working alongside creatives, social, and strategy teams.Research and develop media lists, staying on top of key journalists, publications, and media opportunitiesLead coverage tracking and compile performance reports for clientsManage PR kitting including ideation, list development and supplier managementSupport PR-led events and activations, including coordinating guest lists, media interviews, on-ground logistics and supporting with stakeholder managementSupport our influencer marketing channel – sourcing talent, coordinating partnerships, and managing deliverablesUse performance measurement and monitoring platforms to drive effective earned media measurement (don't worry, you'll be trained on this approach as it's unique to WiredCo.
)Stay ahead of industry trends, looking for innovative ways to amplify earned media successHOW YOU'LL BE MEASURED:Delivering on KPIs developed in conjunction with your line managerAbility to adopt a new way to measure earned media and to proactively look at new ways to make earned media work harderEffectiveness around working with teams within the agency to support on integrated campaigns for clientsInnovative fresh thinking and a seamless outcome for our clientsABOUT YOU:You have 1-2 years of PR experience (ideally agency side)You're a strong writer who can craft compelling press materialsExperience using AI platforms is favourableYou have a keen interest in media and storytelling—you love seeing brands in the news and know what makes a good headlineYou're proactive, organised, and thrive in a fast-paced environmentYou're excited by the intersection of earned media, digital, and performance marketing.You're a natural communicator and enjoy building relationships with mediaAn expert not only the news cycle, but cultural and social trendsYOU:If you're a kind and empathetic soul who believes mateship makes magic, where creativity is everything and you like to get things done efficiently (we call it Whooshka!
