Contracts Administrator
Level 6 - $122,693.21 per annum + Housing Allowance & Utilities Support
Residential Role - Site Based | Permanent, Full-Time
The Role
Are you an experienced contracts professional ready to take the next step in your career? We're looking for a confident and capable Contracts Administrator to oversee the full lifecycle of contract management across a diverse Capital Works Program.
In this key role, you'll be responsible for:
* Negotiating contract terms with internal and external stakeholders
* Monitoring, reviewing, and updating existing contract templates
* Ensuring that key stakeholders understand and comply with company contracts
* Analysing potential risks involved with specific contract terms
* Providing ongoing support for the project teams on a day-to-day basis for the management of contracts and understanding of the scope of works
* Preparing variation proposals and contractual notices in conjunction with Project Managers
* Assessing and verifying the accuracy of variation claims from contractors
* Preparing and managing contract claims in accordance with the contract and relevant legislation (progress claims, variations, EOT claims, Latent Conditions claims)
* Strong understanding of relevant legislation and able to stay up-to-date with legislative changes
* Preparing weekly/monthly cost reports and status reports

Work Related Requirements
The preferred applicant will be required to undergo a pre-employment medical, including drug and alcohol assessment to be considered for the role, as well as possess:
* Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, or Law
* National Police Clearance
* Current 'C' class driver's license
* Rights to work in Australia
