Senior Project Manager - Building Construction
The ideal candidate will have a tertiary qualification in engineering, construction management or architecture and at least 8 years of experience delivering projects from start to finish. They must be able to lead teams, manage project finances and ensure compliance with local regulations.
We are looking for an experienced professional who can oversee the daily delivery of high quality construction projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing project teams, administering contracts and ensuring the profitability of projects.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop comprehensive project plans and communicate them to team members
* Manage project delivery from inception to completion
* Ensure that construction programmes are followed and deliver on project quality and timelines
* Identify and mitigate construction risks through all projects
* Manage project expenditure and cash flow
In addition to the above responsibilities, the successful candidate will also be required to manage subcontractors, maintain health and safety standards and produce progress reports.
Requirements:
* Tertiary qualification in engineering, construction management or architecture
* At least 8 years of experience delivering projects from start to finish
* Proven leadership ability
* Detailed knowledge of local council and regulatory requirements
* Strong financial reporting skills
