API Counsellor Position
As a member of our multidisciplinary team, you will be responsible for providing evidence-based psychological interventions to individuals and families from diverse backgrounds.
Key Responsibilities
* Conduct thorough intake assessments and deliver timely counselling services.
* Provide therapy through face-to-face, phone, and online sessions.
* Develop and implement follow-up strategies, including referrals as needed.
* Collaborate with the team to achieve client-focused outcomes.
* Ensure accurate documentation and meet performance targets.
Qualifications and Requirements
* Tertiary degree in Psychology, Mental Health Nursing, Social Work, or Occupational Therapy.
* Current registration with AHPRA or AASW membership.
* Proven expertise in mental health assessments and treatment, including trauma-informed care.
* Strong communication, teamwork, and case management abilities.
* Familiarity with evidence-based interventions and working with diverse populations.
