Archivist Position Description
This role requires strong leadership skills and experience in archival practices, including retention and disposal schedules. The successful candidate will work closely with the Privacy Reinforcement Project team and other business units to ensure seamless archiving activities and address any information management related issues.
Key Responsibilities
* Develop and implement effective archiving strategies to meet organisational needs.
* Manage Record Archival team.
* Provide weekly reports to the Project Manager Privacy Reinforcement Project on progress to date.
* Monitor and report on the performance of archiving activities, making adjustments as required.
Requirements and Qualifications
* Information Management Diploma or equivalent (desirable).
* Demonstrated experience applying the Principles & Standards of the State Records Act (WA) 2000.
* At least 3 years archival experience and applying retention and disposal schedules.
* Demonstrated experience leading a team.
