About the role
Our Morley Donor Centre is seeking a Centre Service Officer with a genuine passion to deliver an exceptional service to our donors. Working collaboratively in a team, a day in the centre could see you:
* Warmly greet and welcome donors, ensuring a positive and professional donation experience
* Provide clear instructions and support to donors in completing required paperwork
* Prepare and replenish food and beverages, maintaining the donor refreshment area
* Monitor donors post‐donation and assist with rebooking future appointments
* Demonstrate strong computer literacy, accurately managing donor information and navigating multiple systems
* Thrive in a fast‐paced environment while maintaining excellent customer service and attention to detail
* Work collaboratively with the wider team to ensure smooth day‐to‐day centre operations
Qualifications and Requirements
To thrive in this role you will need to provide:
* Demonstrated experience delivering excellent customer service
* Working knowledge of safe food handling procedures
* Previous experience in customer service or reception roles (desirable)
* Previous experience in retail or hospitality (desirable)
* Strong computer literacy and ability to manage multiple systems accurately
* Ability to occasionally lift items weighing 9–22.7 kg
* Frequent sitting, bending, and reaching to restock supplies in the kitchen
* Flexible to work a rotating roster, Monday to Sunday, including weekends and afternoon shifts
