Role
Information Technology at Monash Health supports a wide range of Information Technology (IT) services and equipment throughout Monash Health. Reporting to the Service Delivery Manager, the Level 2 IT Operations Team Lead is responsible for providing leadership and support in the delivery of Level 2 IT support across Monash Health. This is a hands-on role requiring an experienced technician and people manager. You will lead by example and are expected to execute a significant change agenda to ensure that the best possible service is provided to our staff and patients. This role would be well suited for an experienced support practitioner with a proven track of record of service delivery improvement.
The Level 2 support team is responsible for supporting the delivery of key operational systems including desktop hardware, applications, network infrastructure and server management, both onsite and team is also responsible for supporting projects and other technology services as identified by the Directors of Information Technology. The Level 2 IT Operations Team is a customer-focused team and is required to work closely with other teams within the Information Technology department to ensure the best possible outcomes for Monash Health. This role will be directly responsible for the daily operational management of the following functions;
1. Level 2 IT support
2. Level 2 Desktop/On site support
The successful applicant will also be a key leader in the implementation of full level 2 IT support functions. This position will be based at Monash Medical Centre Clayton but will be required to work across all Monash Health sites. Please note that this is not an entry level role.
