Informa Markets, a division within Informa, creates global platforms for industries to trade, innovate and grow. We organise over 450 large-scale branded and transaction-led events in over a dozen specialist markets. These are typically not-to-be-missed live and on-demand B2B events where industries convene and people gather to do business.
We also provide data and digital content, as well as year-round online platforms where companies showcase their businesses and products and buyers conduct research, generating valuable leads.
This role is based in our Aril Hills Office
Responsibilities
* Responsible for leading sales teams to reach sales targets. Sales managers are primarily tasked with training team members, setting quotas, evaluating and adjusting performance, and developing processes that drive sales.
* Revenue generation of specified amount assigned, through sales (booth, sponsorship/advertisement and fully integrated packages) to potential and new customers across products and revenue streams within a business unit.
* Generation of new business leads, through customer relationship development, cold calling, attendance at industry related events and market searching.
* Maintain and strengthen existing customer relationships through demonstrating a detailed understanding of customer business strategy and needs.
* Maintain regular communications among team to monitor customer pipeline, tracking against revenue targets, confirming status of re-bookings and escalation of issues.
* Deliver assigned Sales campaigns, against accounts, products and revenue target.
* Development of brand and industry specific knowledge, including competitor events.
* Collaboration with event and marketing teams to develop attraction campaigns.
* Liaise with the Event Manager and Sales Operations with regards to available spots on the floor plan.
* Maintain accurate and timely customer information and notes within Salesforce (CRM system).
* Capture and enter sales contract information into the CRM/ invoicing system.
* Manage sales information and customer requirements (via Salesforce) to the Sales Operations and Event teams.
* Support Finance in overdue payment collection, resolving bad debt customers and facilitating consistent commission payment process for agents with regular pay runs.
* Perform additional responsibilities as assigned.
Qualifications
* 5 years of experience in sales with service industry.
* Event Organizer/Exhibition industry/ Knowledge would be advantage.
* Proven ability to lead a team to meet sales targets.
* Analytical with strong selling, organizing, presentation and communication skills.
* Self-motivated, ability to work in team and high responsibility.
* Highly committed to delivering results according to timeline.
* Excellent command of both written and spoken English and Thai.
* MS office & Powerpoint presentation proficiency.
* Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or related field.
