The role
We are seeking a passionate, experienced, and reliable Supply Chain Manager to oversee the end-to-end supply chain process, including purchasing, inventory management and planning. The role requires a strategic individual that can support the business to achieve growth in the future. The key parts of the role include:
* Develop and implement supply chain strategies to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of products.
* Engage with various stakeholders to ensure planning is executed with a commercial focus, considering customer needs, additional testing and transport times and to ensure high risk/problematic batches are effectively planned.
* Identify and drive change opportunities within the department to improve DIFOT, cash flow, production line and tank utilisation to minimise downtime.
* Lead and mentor a small team through change and improvement.
* Overall management of the ERP system with a passion for improving data visibility and enhance collaboration across departments.
Skills and Experiences:
About You
* Data driven individual with strong experience in Office 365 to provide detailed analysis, reporting, and support in all elements of the supply chain.
* Ability to provide support in managing internal and external relationships as they relate to the supply chain challenges.
* Proven management ability to lead and develop an existing team through change.
* Strong problem solving and critical thinking capability with preparedness to involve others in finding a solution and capacity to analyse and absorb information from multiple sources to identify appropriate solutions.
* Excellent attention to detail to ensure all documents and requirements comply with various regulatory bodies and customer specifications.
* Energetic verbal communication skills to clearly articulate your message shifting between highly technical and simplistic styles to accommodate internal and external stakeholders.
* Strong written communications to complete reports including any identified risks, implement continuous improvement or risk mitigation strategies.
