The role

Opportunity

We have a 7‐month fixed‐term contract for a Workday Data Analyst at our Macquarie, Sydney office. In this role, the analyst will coordinate direct system data extracts and collection from legacy system owners.

Responsibilities

  • Support legacy system data owners with data collection planning and questions.
  • Utilise existing DQ tools and processes and determine additional checks & activities to maximise data completeness and accuracy.
  • Support resolution of data load errors and validation of the data once in the new systems.
  • Perform detailed checks during each extract cycle to promptly raise issues with the data migration team and/or data owner, updating future DQ processes accordingly.

Essential

  • Demonstrated experience working with HR data and Workday (additional experience with SAP Success Factors also regarded).
  • Excellent attention to detail, numerical and analytical skills.
  • Strong problem‐solving and critical thinking, with the ability to interpret and synthesize diverse and complex information from multiple sources.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication, user interaction and interpersonal skills, and teamwork.
  • Strong understanding of HR processes and terminology, especially Workday.
  • Experience analysing data and trends and translating business requirements into solution options and specifications.
  • A desire to take ownership of the data set and bring a structured approach to its collection, analysis and conversion.
  • A commitment to meeting deadlines.
  • Ability to build relationships and influence internal stakeholders.
  • Ability to prioritise work with competing and energetic priorities. Experience tracking progress through agile tools (Jira, Confluence).
