About the role

This is a full-time Maintenance Team Leader position within the Infrastructure Services Maintenance team, based at Batemans Bay.

In this role, you will be responsible for planning, controlling and monitoring construction and maintenance projects. You will also manage staff, contractors and subcontractors, providing performance feedback and training to ensure quality outcomes.

The starting salary for this position is $2,723.07 per fortnight plus 12% superannuation.

About You

You are a practical and results-driven leader who knows how to bring teams together and deliver outcomes. You have confidence in supervising staff and contractors and ensuring projects stay on track from start to finish. You'll have:

Experience in civil construction or maintenance and a knack for solving problems on the go.
Proven related ability to control and monitor projects on the state roads on behalf of Transport for NSW and in Council's construction and maintenance setting.
A Certificate IV in Civil Construction Supervision (or you're keen to get one with our support).
A good understanding of plant and equipment—and how to get the best out of them.
The willingness to undertake physical labouring tasks.
