About the Role
This is a GP role working across residential aged care homes in the Cairns region. The model is different from standard general practice. There's no clinic, no waiting room, and no pressure to push through consult numbers. Your day is built around structured rounds. You'll see a manageable number of residents, with time to think, review, and plan properly. You're supported throughout. A dedicated nurse works alongside you all day, and you have access to physicians, geriatricians, and a broader specialist network via telehealth. The appeal is simple. You get back to practising medicine properly, with the support and time to do it well.
