Here’s what we’re searching for as an individual: Previous experience as a sommelier; preferably a fine dining/wine venue; Completed Sommelier Australia accredited education program, such as the Wine & Spirit Education Trust (WSET) and/or the Court of Master Sommeliers education program An understanding of profit measures, the ability to manage costs and productivity, and the drive to exceed sales goals; A willingness to go above and beyond with an eagerness to grow personally and professionally; Have a big picture approach while ensuring the daily deliverables are being met; Availability for Monday-Sunday Shifts (hours are rotated depending on availability, between open, mid and closing shifts); Friendly, approachable, and believes the customer always comes first; Strive to execute efficient and flawless service every shift; and You’re someone who takes pride in yourself and your personal brand.
