The Role
You will report directly to the Operations Manager, collaborating closely with Electrical Engineers, Project Managers, and other administrators. In this role, you will be responsible for managing electrical projects from start to finish, ensuring high‑quality outcomes while meeting client requirements and financial targets.
Key Responsibilities
* Review and analyse project drawings, specifications, and documentation to provide accurate solutions and ensure projects meet both technical and financial goals.
* Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors to gather necessary information and ensure smooth project execution.
* Analyse project specifications and develop practical and comprehensive solutions to meet client expectations.
* Identify risks and opportunities within projects, offering recommendations to management for mitigation and improvement.
* Assist with cost estimations, reviewing material, labour, and equipment requirements.
* Attend site visits and pre‑bid meetings to assess project scope and requirements.
* Stay up‑to‑date with industry trends, material costs, and labour rates to maintain competitive data.
* Provide technical expertise and support throughout the project lifecycle to ensure the highest quality of service.
* Provide variations for existing projects as required.
* Produce regular reports to management on project progress and performance.

Position Requirements
* Experience: 3‑5+ years of experience as an Electrical Engineer.
* Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of electrical systems, materials, and construction methods.
* Software Proficiency: Experience with estimating software is a plus, particularly SimPRO and GroundPlan.
* Communication: Excellent analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills.
* Teamwork: Ability to work effectively within a team and collaborate with various stakeholders.
* Pressure Management: Ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
