Our groundbreaking flagship Social Wellness Club is set to open in May 2025, and will feature an 'all day concept' with a full state-of-the-art gym, group exercise classes, reformer pilates, cold plunge, sauna and spa. It will also feature the latest innovation and services, including recovery zones, sound bath, business lounge, co-working spaces, health food café, personal trainers, instructors, nutritionists and other health professionals.

U Health aims to make healthy eating tasty, easy and accessible, and is now perfectly placed within the Virgin Active Group to hit Aussie shores. Our menu's made to fit all kinds of diets with easy on-the-go options and always a healthy variety of choices.

The Gig:

Reporting to the Store Manager, you'll assist in managing the day-to-day operations of the store, ensuring that all activities run smoothly and efficiently.

In a nutshell:

* You'll support the Store Manager in overseeing daily store operations, ensuring team efficiency
* You'll monitor team performance to maintain high service standards
* You'll train and mentor new and existing team members on procedures, food safety, and customer service
* You'll coach, develop and motivate the team, addressing training or service gaps
* You'll assist in inventory management, including ordering, stock rotation, and minimizing wastage.
* You'll ensure compliance with Virgin Active's Quality, Security, Safety, and Cleanliness (QSVC) standards.
* You'll oversee hygiene, safety, and cleanliness to maintain an excellent member experience.
* You'll support cash handling procedures and daily financial reporting, stepping in when required.
* You'll assist in executing sales promotions and ensuring merchandise is presented effectively.
* You'll collaborate with the team to drive sales while maintaining brand consistency.

* You have aligned supervisory experience in a cafe environment and understand the importance of food safety rules. A+ for you.
* You're flexible working with a 7-day rotating roster
* You love to create refreshing experiences for people as much as you love to guarantee a super safe and presentable environment for all.
* You are people focused. You're warm, honest and genuine. You get a kick delivering and teaching others operational excellence
* You are self-assured. You listen intently. You speak eloquently. You can explain just about anything to anyone and you're comfortable communicating at all levels.
