Facilities Engineer
Position: Full-time permanent contract.
Job Description
We are currently seeking a self-motivated Facilities Engineer to join our expanding team. The role involves providing high quality scheduled, unplanned and reactive maintenance works to our clients' sites. You will demonstrate knowledge of preventive maintenance planning, roofing, drainage, joinery, fabric works, basic electrical and plumbing, and perform physically demanding tasks. This is a mobile position, requiring travel to a wide range of client sites across various industries.
Responsibilities
Provide scheduled, unplanned, and reactive maintenance works to client sites.
Apply knowledge of preventive maintenance planning (PPM) and related practical tasks including roofing, drainage, joinery, fabric work, basic electrical and plumbing.
Perform physically demanding tasks as required by sites.
Travel to and work across a variety of client sites nationwide.
Complete low-level works confidently while seeking guidance for more complex tasks.
Qualifications
Minimum of 1 year experience in this or a similar role, supported by references.
Full UK Driving License and a minimum of 12 months driving experience.
Accessible to DBS or security checks, and willing to comply with all relevant checks before or upon commencement.
