About the Company
Condamine Wellscreens (CWS) is a successful manufacturer of stainless-steel products for the Agricultural, Water, Mining and Resource sectors. We pride ourselves on producing high quality work and, having operated since 1993, we have built a team that shares our passion and commitment to quality.
In 2016, CWS acquired McDowall Engineering – an independent wedge wire shaping business. McDowall operates several wire lines which specialise in transforming round, stainless steel feed wire into wedge wire profiles, as well as general engineering and machining. This role will see you supporting both businesses.

The Role
Working alongside Product Experts, you will be responsible for driving new business growth by building and nurturing a sales pipeline. This is a role where you work autonomously to convert new businesses into clients and promote our products and brand through appropriate channels.
In this position, you can expect to work largely from the office with occasional trips to client site and corporate office locations.
How will you do this?
* Identify and qualify potential clients with a current or near-future need for our products and services
* Keep records of phone calls and interactions, ensuring consistent and relevant follow up
* Manage the relationship, promoting products and benefits where applicable
* Promote products on social media and website, ensuring website remains up to date
* Enjoy the freedom to be strategic in how you Identify opportunities for advertising (eg trade shows, publications) and business development and present business cases as needed.
* Schedule appointments for internal product experts to attend client sites
About You
This is a role for someone who is a self-starter and loves meeting targets Experience in a similar role is not necessary, but if some of the below points resonate with you – apply today
* Experience working with customers to understand their needs and providing solutions
* Mechanical aptitude or experience within a mechanical or manufacturing environment
* Clear, personable and confident communication style
* Strong copywriting skills to create engaging posts and product information
* Great organisational ability to track communication cycles and to keep details of conversations and meetings.
