Job Title: Visitor Experience Coordinator
This is an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Visitor Experience Coordinator, providing exceptional customer service and contributing to the growth of our region's tourism industry.
About the Role:
* You will be responsible for delivering a warm and welcoming presence to visitors, ensuring their experience is both memorable and positive.
* Maintaining accurate records and managing administrative tasks with efficiency and accuracy.
* Staying up-to-date with local knowledge of the Ballina Shire and surrounding Northern Rivers area.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide outstanding customer service skills, face-to-face and over the telephone.
* Manage cash handling and reconcilements, along with booking and sales of tourism products and services.
* Cultivate relationships with local tourism operators to drive industry growth.
Requirements:
* A relevant qualification, such as Certificate III in Tourism or equivalent.
* Experience within the tourism sector, preferably in a Visitor Information Centre or similar role.
* Excellent communication skills, verbal and written.
