12 Month Fixed-Term Contract | Maternity Leave Cover (Potential for Extension)
About the Role
This is a hands‐on, fast‐paced role supporting both customers and the sales team.
You'll act as the link between customers, sales and operations – managing orders, preparing quotes, coordinating deliveries and ensuring a smooth process from enquiry through to fulfilment.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys a mix of customer service, sales support and coordination, with exposure to technical or electrical products.
This is a 12‐month fixed‐term contract covering maternity leave, with potential for extension depending on business needs.
What You'll Be Doing
* Responding to customer enquiries (phone & email)
* Preparing quotes and providing product information
* Processing and managing sales orders
* Coordinating delivery schedules and tracking backorders
* Liaising with internal teams and external stakeholders
* Supporting the sales team with day‐to‐day customer requests
* Maintaining CRM records (quotes, opportunities, projects)
* Assisting with sales and marketing collateral
* Providing solutions‐based support to customers
* Supporting adherence to quality and environmental standards
About You
You're organised, proactive and confident dealing with customers. You enjoy being busy, solving problems and supporting a team to deliver results.
You'll bring:
* Experience in customer service, sales support or order coordination
* Strong communication and problem‐solving skills
* Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‐paced environment
* High attention to detail and accuracy
* Experience using CRM systems
Highly Regarded (Preferred)
* Experience within lighting, electrical or safety product environments
* Exposure to technical products or construction‐related industries
* Familiarity with ISO standards (e.g. ISO 9001/ISO 14001)
* Confidence understanding and communicating product specifications
