Based in Gippsland, Latrobe Regional Health are looking for a appropriately qualified Mental Health Clinician to join our Warragul Community Mental Health Team on a full time ongoing basis.
Warragul Community Mental Health is situated centrally to the township of Warragul with small multidisciplinary team who work to support patients experiencing a mental health episode, their families and carers.
The Senior Mental Health Clinician is expected to undertake a full range of clinical duties including the provision of recovery orientated practice, comprehensive assessment, care coordination, evidence-based treatment, psycho-education and consumer and family collaboration. The Senior Clinician also supports the Team Manager and Clinical Lead in implementing the agreed Model of Care and is responsible for assisting with workforce development and management, workload management, clinical governance, education and mentoring.

We are looking for candidates with:
9. Registered Nurse Division 1 with post graduate qualifications in Mental Health Nursing or appropriately qualified allied health professional including Occupational Therapist, Social Worker or Psychologist
10. A minimum of 4 years post registration experience in mental health
11. Experience in working with older persons with mental health concerns
12. Experience working with adult client
13. Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work well as part of a team
