Casual Concrete Delivery HR Drivers | Relief Plant Operative
Driving a concrete agitator truck for Heidelberg Materials is more than just going from A to B and back again. Our Agitator drivers provide high levels of customer service to our clients receiving our products, becoming the face of our business. As an Agi Driver, you will be making multiple deliveries throughout the day and interacting with lots of different people. Every day will be different, there's nothing routine about this role
About the role
Rates: $***** per hour (inclusive of loading) plus penalties (rate ×1.5 after 8 hours, rate ×2.0 after 10 hours).
Operate batch plant.
Use of Front-End Loader (ticket desirable).
Based at our Toowoomba Concrete Plant reporting to the Plant Manager.
Typical start between 4/6am; drivers can work up to and over 8 hours per day, and around ***** hours per week.
Saturday work is generally available, paid at overtime rates.
Monthly travel may be required within the region, meals/accommodation is supplied.
All new starts go through a 10-day training program before you're allowed to drive yourself.
About you
Minimum HR license (essential) with previous driving experience (preferred).
You enjoy meeting people and having a chat with them when you're onsite.
You prefer variety in your working life; no two days are ever the same when you're driving one of our Agi trucks.
You take pride in the appearance of your truck: keep it clean, wash it and present the best image of our company; you are a mobile billboard.
Able to pass a pre-employment medical, including a drug and alcohol test (random testing is also conducted on all Heidelberg Materials sites).
