What's the role

Within Real Estate, the Facility Management (FM) team plans, manages and operates the sites for the Businesses. This is done in a safe and competitive way, using fit-for-business processes and practices, and competent staff and contractors.

The FM team provide and operate workplaces and facilities that enable the businesses to focus on their targets.

As the RE Lead West Australia, you will take ownership of leading the RE Facilities Management for Shell's Corporate Office and assets based on the West Coast of Australia. This includes supporting Shell's flagship Prelude business, and the West Coast Non-Operated Ventures in Australia.

What you'll be doing

More specifically your role will include:

* You will provide visible Safety leadership and management of HSE arrangements across all RE Facilities to deliver the Goal Zero ambition.
* You will ensure all facilities are operated in accordance with the standards and recommendations in the Shell WorkWell guide and Shell Performance Framework.
* You will work as an active member of the country RE Leadership Team supporting the Head of Real Estate with the development and implementation of functional strategy.
* As RE Lead West Australia, you will lead creation of and develop long-term strategies for the West Coast facilities, aligned to the global Real Estate ambition, through strong relationships with senior leaders and business focal points.
* As IFM Contract Holder, you are expected to deliver top quartile pre- and post-award contract performance management through visible leadership, effective negotiating and influencing, coaching and governance to ensure delivery of high value services within RE Australia.
* You will drive business performance management across all West Coast facilities management services including accountability for business planning cycles, forecasting, cost control and regular performance reviews.

What you bring

We are keen to hear from people who have a strong commercial, financial or technical background, preferably with proven work experience in complex corporate environments. Beyond that, we'd hope to see as many of the following as possible on your Resume:

* Experienced in leading facilities management across multiple large-scale operating sites
* Skilled in Contract Management and Negotiations
* Strong safety leadership with resilience, commercial focus, external awareness, and the ability to work and lead effectively through uncertainty, complexity, ambiguity, and incomplete information.
* Proven stakeholder management and business partnering capability, able to influence senior leaders, communicate at all levels, collaborate across functions, and foster team-wide leadership and high-performance behaviours.
* Demonstrated learner mindset with curiosity, reflection, and the ability to create an empowering environment that drives clarity of intent, priorities, outcomes, and maximises performance across organisational boundaries.
* Passionate and determined in delivering high-quality services; able to identify and realise commercial opportunities with speed and simplicity while operating from the West Coast of Australia.
