-Our Global Employment team is part of our People and Culture division and provides advisory, compliance and litigation expertise to the organisation. Our team are responsible for the development and maintenance of employment policies and frameworks in compliance with legal and regulatory requirements, advising the business on people and culture matters that carry potential legal risk, monitoring for and responding to legal changes, and advising on and managing employment litigation.
This is a 12-month contract.

Your primary focus will be conducting investigations and providing advice to managers and staff on Equal Employment Opportunity matters. You will supervise the monitoring of electronic communication and manage escalations, in addition to providing training and education on appropriate workplace behaviour, both face to face and by developing online content. Working closely with industry stakeholders you will monitor regulatory change and other external developments and compile internal and regulatory (including the Workplace Gender Equality Agency) reports. Finally, you will identify insights from internal and external information sources to drive improvements in policies and practices, and data management capabilities.- What you offer
- 10 years'+ experience working in Employee Relations including experience in handling workplace grievances and case management
- Tertiary qualifications in Employment Law or Industrial Relations
- Strong consulting and stakeholder management skills
- Highly collaborative, and confident in your ability to nurture and develop relationshipsAbility to manage conflicting deadlines and proven problem-solving capability.
