The AoD Coordinator will play a key role in providing advice and project management support to the CEO, Board and member organisations to advance an Aboriginal-led AoD development agenda in the East Kimberley. Key requirements of this role include:
* Leading the AoD program in the East Kimberley
* Preparing responses to national and state consultations;
* supporting the co-design of new AoD initiatives aligned with the Empowered Communities East Kimberley vision;
* ensuring BBY practices are culturally grounded;
* contributing to BBY practice in providing strong governance for Aboriginal-led development;
* supporting the efforts of BBY members, the CEO and Directors to create an enabling policy environment for the Regional Development Agenda;
* working in close collaboration with the Community Engagement Leader, the Technical Advisers (Data and Evaluation), Early Years Coordinator, Policy Adviser and the CEO to amplify the efforts of a small team
