Role and Responsibilities:
As a Domestic Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting vulnerable individuals to stay in the comfort of their own homes.
Your responsibilities include:
Assisting clients with domestic tasks like cleaning, laundry, and meal preparation.
Encouraging clients to actively participate in their care, fostering independence.
Supporting clients to maintain control of their lives by understanding and developing their functional capacity.
Undertaking routine administrative tasks to ensure compliance with organisational policies and procedures.
Building respectful relationships with individuals from diverse cultural backgrounds.
Requirements:
Ability to undertake domestic/housekeeping tasks effectively.
Effective interpersonal and communication skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
First Aid and CPR Certificate.
Willingness to work towards Certificate III in Community Services, Individual Support, or Aged Care (highly desirable).
Shifts & Rosters:
Domestic Services operate Monday to Friday.
