We are seeking a Mechanical Engineer to join our team.
This is a full-time position within our Engineering Department.
To be successful in this role, you must be self-motivated and willing to put in the work needed to complete jobs in a timely manner.
Attention to detail and highest quality workmanship are paramount.
The ideal candidate will have experience in 2D or 3D CAD drafting, mechanical design, and automation. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, is also required.
You will be responsible for designing and detailing machinery and parts, commissioning automation systems, and procuring materials and parts for engineering projects.
In addition, you will need to have excellent verbal and written communication skills, as well as the ability to learn quickly and work efficiently independently or as part of a team.

About the Role:
1. Design and detailing of machinery and parts using AutoCAD and 3D Modelling software
2. Commissioning Automation wood Manufacturing
3. Procurement of materials and parts for engineering projects
4. Machine construction & testing in workshop
5. Factory automation design for plant upgrades, optimisation and new projects
6. Layout drawings for project proposal, planning and execution
About You:
1. Qualification in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering (or similar degrees), Diploma Mechanical Engineering with experience
2. Excellent verbal and written communication skills
3. Ability to learn quickly and be proactive
4. Excellent time management skills with demonstrated ability to prioritise and meet targets
5. Attention to detail and ability to work efficiently either independently or as part of a team
