A brand-new Gold Coast office has just opened — and our client is looking for an experienced Senior Hydraulic Designer (Hydraulic Engineer / Hydraulic Designer / Building Services Hydraulic Engineer) to help grow it from the ground up. You’ll be joining a multidiscipline team with both mechanical and electrical already represented, and this role will complete the picture by adding hydraulic expertise. The team is small, motivated, and all based on the Coast — buzzing with the energy of building something new together. Importantly, this is the first time in several years a new multidisciplinary building services consultancy has ventured into the Gold Coast market. It’s a rare and exciting chance to shape a fresh local offering, expand the project mix, and be part of something that will grow rapidly. What you’ll do Lead hydraulic services design and coordination from concept to completion. Guide clients and architects with specifications, reports and solutions. Mentor junior designers and set the standard for technical excellence. Drive local business opportunities and strengthen the Gold Coast presence. What you’ll bring 5 years in building services hydraulic design. QBCC Licence or RPEQ registration (or on the pathway). Proficiency in AutoCAD; Revit preferred. Solid knowledge of NCC, AS3500 and fire standards. Strong client-facing skills and a collaborative mindset.
