Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Exchange Systems Administrator to support the ongoing management, enhancement, and migration of enterprise communication platforms within a large, complex ICT environment. In this role, you will work across a hybrid Exchange landscape, supporting both on‑premises and cloud‑based solutions, and contributing to critical migration and modernisation initiatives.
You will be responsible for maintaining and optimising Exchange infrastructure, resolving complex technical issues, and producing high‑quality technical documentation. Working closely with project teams and operational stakeholders, you will provide deep technical expertise to support reliable, secure, and scalable messaging and collaboration services. This role is well suited to professionals who enjoy hands‑on technical work, problem solving, and contributing to large‑scale Microsoft technology environments.
Qualifications
* Expert knowledge of Exchange Server and Exchange Online, including hybrid Exchange configurations and day‑to‑day administration.
* Proven experience delivering Exchange migrations, including cross‑forest and legacy‑to‑cloud transitions.
* Strong troubleshooting capability across mail flow, gateways, and hybrid on‑premise/cloud connectivity.
* Solid knowledge of Windows Server fundamentals, including Active Directory, DNS, Group Policy and related services.
* Demonstrated experience producing technical documentation such as design artefacts, as‑built documentation, and operating procedures.
* Experience supporting enterprise‑scale Microsoft environments with complex operational requirements.
* Exposure to broader Microsoft 365 services and related technologies will be highly regarded.
