The Tasmanian Health Service is seeking a highly skilled medical professional to fill the position of Registrar – Refugee Health. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for the day-to-day management of private and public inpatients and outpatients within the allocated site/facility.
Job Description
This is a fixed-term part-time day work position, with an opportunity to work 6.4 hours per fortnight, plus up to 10 hours protected training time (pro rata). The successful applicant will be based at the Refugee Outpatient Clinic, Wellington Centre.
The role involves providing after-hours emergency care as determined by the relevant work unit. You will also be responsible for managing patient records and maintaining accurate documentation.
* General or limited registration with the Medical Board of Australia
* Current Working with Children Registration (where applicable)
To be considered for this position, you must have excellent communication skills and be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. A high level of organisational skill and ability to prioritise tasks is essential.
