We are seeking experienced Hospital Administration Officers to join our dynamic team - Permanent-Part-time and Casual positions available

Albany Day Hospital:

Albany Day Hospital is located in the great southern region of WA, a nature lovers paradise. Picturesque landscape, turquoise waters, crystal white beaches, incredible walks and whale watching.

The hospital is an accredited, modern, one operating theatre facility which provides Endoscopy, Ophthalmology, and General surgery to the clinicians and residents of the region.

About the role:

- Working collaboratively in a multi-disciplinary, specialised healthcare team to support patient care needs
- Requires experienced hospital administration officer experience
- Responsible primarily for assisting in various administrative tasks
- Admission and discharge documentation and theatre bookings
- Patient estimations, Informed Financial Consent preparation and health fund verifications
- Accurate and timely Patient Management System entry
- Liaising with stakeholders
- Assisting with scanning of files
- Other administrative duties as required
- Shifts between 07:00 and 18:00

About You:

- Previous experience with hospital patient administration systems essential
- Excellent customer service, interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to relate to and liaise with all stakeholders
- Ability to work independently, show initiative, prioritise workloads and multitask
- Sound knowledge of Microsoft Office, computer literacy, and proficient data entry skills
- High level of attention to detail
- Experience with FYDO or SimDay desirable but not essential – training will be provided
