About the Role
We are seeking a highly capable Retail Manager who can streamline operations, lead staff, and optimise store performance. This is a pivotal leadership role responsible for delivering operational excellence, maintaining business standards, and supporting business growth.
Key Duties & Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Overseeing daily store operations to ensure consistent service delivery and operational efficiency.
- Recruiting, training, supervising and rostering staff to maintain adequate labour coverage across trading hours.
- Monitoring inventory levels, coordinating stock control, managing supplier relationships, and overseeing purchasing.
- Implementing merchandising standards and promotional strategies to maximise sales and customer engagement.
- Handling escalated customer inquiries and resolving complex complaints.
- Ensuring compliance with workplace health and safety requirements, store policies, and company procedures.
- Analysing market trends and customer feedback to support continuous improvement initiatives.
- Leading and motivating the team to achieve sales targets and provide exceptional customer service.
Skills & Experience Required
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Holds relevant qualifications in at least Diploma or Advanced Diploma level
- At least 1 year of relevant experience in a supervisory or management role within retail.
- Strong understanding of retail operations, stock management, and customer service principles.
- Proven leadership capability with experience managing and training staff.
- Strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage competing priorities.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to achieve sales targets and drive business performance.
