Responsibilities
* Diagnose and repair various mobile devices including smartphones, tablets, and other portable electronics.
* Perform software troubleshooting on operating systems such as Android, iOS, macOS, and Windows to resolve issues efficiently.
* Conduct hardware repairs using hand tools and soldering techniques on components like screens, batteries, charging ports, and internal circuits.
* Follow schematics and technical manuals to accurately identify faults and execute repairs with precision.
* Provide technical support for device setup, updates, and troubleshooting both in-store and in the field.
* Assist customers with retail sales of mobile devices and accessories by explaining features and recommending solutions.
* Use analysis skills to evaluate device problems quickly and determine the most effective repair strategies while maintaining quality standards.
Skills and Qualifications
* Proficiency with Android, iOS, macOS, and Windows operating systems.
* Strong knowledge of computer hardware components and repair techniques.
* Experience with soldering equipment and working with schematics for electronic repairs.
* Familiarity with hand tools used in electronics repair such as screwdrivers, spudgers, tweezers, etc.
* Excellent analysis skills to troubleshoot software issues and hardware malfunctions efficiently.
* Ability to perform field service visits for on‐site device repairs or support.
* Effective communication skills for providing technical support to customers or team members.
* Knowledge of mobile device components including screens, batteries, charging ports, cameras, etc., for accurate diagnostics.
Compensation
$17.00 - $24.00 per hour
