As a Domestic Services Assistant at our vibrant community, you will play a vital role in maintaining a clean and safe environment for our residents. The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out a range of domestic tasks to maintain hygiene standards, including cleaning residents' rooms, ensuites, furniture, and equipment as appropriate, as well as communal and administrative areas.
The ideal candidate will have excellent interpersonal skills, including the ability to communicate effectively and compassionately with residents, families, employees, and volunteers. They will also possess demonstrated initiative and ability to work without supervision, well-developed prioritisation and organisational skills, and the ability to operate with discretion and to maintain complete confidentiality.

About the Role
* Carry out a range of domestic tasks to maintain hygiene standards in a home-like environment
* Cleaning residents rooms including ensuites furniture and equipment as appropriate and communal and administrative areas
* Ensure common living areas hallways and all other areas of the facility including front entrance courtyards verandas are maintained in a clean and tidy and safe condition
* Ensure the safe storage security and labelling of appropriate cleaning materials in line with the MSDS and in consultation with the Residential Services Manager while being aware of the environmental requirements of cleaning products and their disposal
* Replenishing cleaning liquids and materials whilst observing safety procedures
* Report stock shortages breakages building equipment or furnishing defects promptly to the Residential Services Manager
About You
* Demonstrated initiative and ability to work without supervision
* Well-developed prioritisation and organisational skills with the ability to meet deadlines
* Ability to operate with discretion and to maintain complete confidentiality
* Commitment to work as part of a team
* Working in an aged care or hospital setting will be desirable
