Your new role
Rockhampton City Child Care Centre is seeking caring and committed educators to join our passionate team in delivering high quality, responsive care for children in a nurturing and stimulating environment.
You'll support children's developmental and routine needs while assisting Group Leaders in planning and implementing engaging, play based programs aligned with the Early Years Learning Framework and National Quality Standards. You'll help create safe, inclusive, and hygienic spaces where children feel supported, curious, and confident to explore the world around them.
As part of our dedicated team, you'll build strong relationships with children, families, and colleagues, contribute to continuous improvement practices, and uphold the values of Rockhampton Regional Council.
With ongoing operational requirements at the Centre, further opportunities are expected to arise, which may support continued employment beyond the initial contract period.

This position requires the completion of a satisfactory Criminal History Check - Police Certificate (Australia Wide Name Only Police Check).

Application Criteria
* Certificate III or Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care, Blue Card for Working with Children and Young People, Current First Aid & CPR certificate and proven experience working in a child care setting or similar.
* Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate and develop relationships with children, parents, colleagues and management.
* Genuine passion for working with children and experience providing positive care and educational opportunities to children.
