Our client is a global financial institution that needs no introduction.
Working as part of their Creative Team, which acts like an internal agency, the Copywriter will join a dynamic team including Creative Desk Project Managers, Arti Director and Graphic Designers etc. to ensure end to end development of marketing campaigns for assigned customers.
As a Copywriter/ Tech Writer you will have a creative flair, always seeking innovative and new content directions and will produce user guides, product "how to"s etc
You will relish working in a fast-paced environment and be able to manage multiple project deliverables.
You will be skilled with short and long form copy for marketing purposes, and ideally have extensive experience with financial services copywriting.
Your responsibilities will include:
* Writing copy and tech writing - user guides, product how to
* Concept new campaign copy in a variety of mediums
* Understand marketing insights and strategies and translate into compelling advertising campaigns that are digital-first and consistent with the brand character.
* Combine conceptual creative thinking with high-quality content delivery
* Develop copy for multiple forms of communication, including direct response, designed to drive action and conversion
* Collaborate with graphic designers to ensure the format/design and copy work cohesively
* Provide leadership and convey the vision and values of the Marketing Services organization.
* Travel to Melbourne on average 1 - 2 times per month
Your ideal background:
* Mid level copy writing experience within a creative agency environment or client side with tech writing/user guide experience
* Strong conceptual skills and a highly developed ability to bring those concepts to life through ideas that can be executed across a wide variety of continuously evolving communications channels.
* Experience with an array of channels including online video, online banners, social platforms, and print.
* Strong communications skills and ability to present work intelligently and concisely in internal reviews and in client meetings.
* Captivating presentation skills
* Passionate about social media platforms, trends, technology and best practices
* Experience with Financial Services / credit cards/loyalty rewards schemes etc. would be preferable.
This will be an initial 6 months contract based in Surry Hills (3 days per week)
