ROLE SUMMARY
The Account Executive – Digital & Communications is a mid-level role responsible for the day-to-day management and delivery of client campaigns across traditional and digital platforms.
The role manages a portfolio of client accounts and provides end-to-end coordination of marketing and digital communication projects, including websites, digital marketing, Indigenous communications, and video and radio production. The position operates with a high level of autonomy while working under the guidance of the General Manager.
A strong focus is placed on client service, collaboration, and ensuring projects are delivered on time, on brief, and within budget.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Account Management
Manage day-to-day relationships with a portfolio of new and existing clients.
Deliver high-quality client service with a focus on relationship-building and retention.
Contribute to and initiate marketing strategies and communications plans aligned with client objectives.
Use project management tools (e.g. or Streamtime) for job tracking, quoting, scheduling and workflow coordination.
Open job tickets, prepare and issue quotes within 24 hours of request, track timelines and budgets.
Coordinate internal teams and external subcontractors to ensure smooth project delivery.
Maintain regular communication with clients, providing updates and managing expectations.
Attend client WIP meetings and actively participate in key account discussions.
Account Management
Build and maintain strong working relationships with external suppliers (e.g. printers, signage, merchandise), sourcing quotes and coordinating production schedules.
Stay informed of industry trends and best practice through ongoing professional development.
Marketing & Digital Communications
Translate client briefs into clear marketing plans, creative briefs, media briefs and proposals.
Coordinate campaign delivery across creative, production and digital teams, including timelines and budgets.
Manage website projects, including quoting, scheduling, and liaison with in-house and external development partners.
Coordinate the production of TV, radio and video content for client campaigns.
Act as a key point of contact for clients and media buyers during campaign planning and execution.
Event management and all round duties where required.
Business Development
Identify opportunities to grow existing client accounts and re-engage previous clients.
Promote the full suite of Sprout services and ensure clients are aware of all capabilities.
Contribute to new business development activity in collaboration with the General Manager.
Meet agreed KPIs, which may include:
Weekly WIP meetings with account clients
A minimum of two client meetings per week with existing or former clients
Participation in at least one new business meeting per week
QUALIFICATIONS, KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE
Minimum 2 years experience in a marketing, account management or communications role
Strong attention to detail with excellent time management and organisational skills
High-level written and verbal communication skills
Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
QUALIFICATIONS, KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE CONT.
Positive, solutions-focused attitude with strong interpersonal skills
Proficiency in Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Slides)
Basic skills in Adobe Creative Suite (preferred)
Ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team
Two recent referees from a similar role.
